Home again

Thank god, I am home again. And all the utilities are back!

We didn't discover until the electricity was restored that our cable was out too. The cable guy came yesterday. Hooray!

Except that today a big truck came roaring down the street and took out the cable line to my landlord's apartment. The cable guy put them back up too low yesterday. What an idiot. So the cable company has to come back out Friday to put up another cable line. I'm hoping that mine is just high enough to survive the next couple days. The idiot guy can raise mine up too, while he's at it.

In the mean time, it's nice to have heat and electricity and cable and internet and my own bed. I will be giving thanks for utilities tomorrow. :)
