So right around nap time today (2:00pm) I hear a helicopter overhead. Hmmmm. Must be a car accident. I hear the ambulance helicopters all the time on the way to and from the nearby hospital. No big deal. I'm sitting at my computer which is close by my front window that over looks my quiet little street. I see a cop car drive by. Hmmmm. Must be an accident close by me. No big deal. Not long afterwards I start to notice a lot of traffic on my quiet little street. That's strange. I hear the helicopter again. Hmmm. It must have been a bad accident or something. I decide to turn on the tv to Channel 8, thinking that maybe they will have a report of it or something. Sure enough they are reporting live. But it's not an accident. It's this:

An escaped prison inmate caused a massive manhunt that was going on right in my very own neighborhood! Helicopters were circling the area for three hours. Cops had Fuller street blocked off and were redirecting traffic down my quiet little street. There were four cop cars at the end of my street and they were stopping anyone from entering their search zone.

Crazy. I had to work tonight so I took the long way there. Needless to say, the helicopters and the manhunt ruined my nap time. What a ruiner.
