Oh crap...
Jason is sick. I just spent the past four days with him. That means there is a very good chance that I'm going to get sick too. Crap. I am subbing today, Thursday, and Friday AND starting training at the restaurant this week. I just don't have time to be sick this week. Maybe next week. But not this week.
On a different note, I am subbing at the charter school today. The kids are in a seminar class this first hour. They're watching Independance Day. They're getting tested on it. Why? I'm not sure... What the hell do you test kids on Independance Day for? I don't get it.

I bet it's to see if they understand that July 4th is Independence Day. I'd say maybe its so they know the kids payed attention, but ... who hasnt seen it before that a) doesnt live in a cardboard box, and b) goes to school?
You know, it probably is to let them know that Independence Day is on July 4th and that it's the day that Will Smith saved the world from aliens. What was I thinking? Of course it's a good movie to test kids on...
