The money fairy works in mysterious ways...

So my money fairy is broke, like I said in Cara's history of the money fairy. Just leaves random pennies around my house. The occasional quarter, but nothing exciting.

It's getting to be tax time. I owe about $300 this year. Not bad. Considering a couple years ago I had to pay over $700! But still. That's an extra $300 that I don't really have just yet. Crap.

I have two doctors appointments next week - dentist (eeek) and planned parenthood(extra eeek) - that I was trying to figure out how to make any sort of payment on when I go. I was wise enough to put both crappy appointments on the same day so my day will just suck rather than having two days suck - see, I'm always thinkin'.... However, that means I have to make some sort of minimum payment at both locations on the same day, right before rent is due. Crap.

I subbed today, am subbing tomorrow morning, and will sub again Monday for certain. Unfortunately, the pay for these days will come in about two-three weeks. Crap.

I was feeling pretty stressed about the whole situation... wondering which doctor appointment I could put off and for how long...

Then, the money fairy had one of the girls from work call to ask if I could work for her on Friday night. YES! That's like $40 at least. Sweet.

Later, I was checking the balances on my credit cards, as I do every month, and discovered that one of them had the limit raised. By $500. YES! Now, in case of an emergency, I have a small safety net. Sweet.

So my money fairy works in mysterious ways. And she makes me work for my money...

What a bitch.
