Confessions...

WARNING: I am going to gush about my engagement in the first paragraph. Just skip it if you don't want to hear it. The rest of this posting will be about other stuff.

Okay. I admit. I totally love my engagement ring. It really is the shiny-est, sparkly-est, most faceted, most brilliant diamond in the whole world - to me anyway. I love to just watch the way it sparkles in the sun light. Or in the restaurant lights. Or really in any light. Just looking at it makes me smile. I could care less that my apartment is really messy right now and I need to clean my bird cage and my car alternator is busted on the Neon and it has a flat tire. I do care that we're getting inspections done tomorrow on the house we're in the process of buying but why worry when I could just stare at my shiny ring instead? I am excited that this will be our first house and that maybe this is where we will have our wedding reception and maybe our kids will run and play in the yard someday. And it is all because I have the most beautiful ring in the whole wide world given to me by the man that I love and that I am going to marry next year. :)

Yesterday was my last day working at Sundance Grill. I wasn't sad to leave. I always knew it was just a temporary fix for me. I was wasting my time and my talent working there. And now it's done and I work in fine dining again. Thank God. More money for less hard work. That's what I'm talkin' about! And I work with Tom, Chris, and Kelly - all of whom I worked with 6 years ago at Bistro. It's fun to work with them all again. I see many of the same customers that I saw when working at Bistro and Firehouse, so that's nice too. Same people - different restaurant.

I look around my apartment now and I'm just wondering how the hell I am going to be able to pack up everything and move at the end of next month. How did I get so much stuff in here, anyway?! Oh, I guess 4 years of living somewhere will do that...

Anyone want to help me move? Anyone? Hello?

paragraph 1: awwwwww! how sweet! I hope everything goes well with the inspection so that some day EVERYBODY'S kids can run around in the yard and the kids will know their cousins better than we know ours. :)

2: hooray for only having 2 jobs now!!

3: hahahahahaha. i hope helping you move isn't part of the Maid of Honor responsibility! just kidding... i'll help. :)

Of course helping me move is part of the Maid of Honor responsibility! You are supposed to help with whatever I need. ;) I am SURE it says it somewhere in your book that if the bride needs help moving into her new house with her fiance than your lazy butt should be there to help. Just kidding.

I would appreciate your help. Thanks for offering. :)
