I was having a perfectly lovely morning watching the hummingbirds visit our feeder every five minutes and watching the cardinals play in the trees. Jason and I were emailing back and forth about putting a webcam on the feeder so he can watch the hummingbirds when he is at work. It's was a good morning.

Then mom called.

And it ruined my hummingbird induced joy.

Whew

After working almost constantly on our new house trying to get it all ready for our party, it is so nice to just sit and watch a movie at night and cuddle on the couch. Between that and working almost every night of the week, Jason and I have had very little quality time together. So Thursday night Jason brought home flowers, a bottle of wine, and the movie "The Producers" so we could have a date at home. It was so sweet. He's a good man. I will definitely keep him.
