Ahhhhh.....

The wedding is done. Hooray!

It went beautifully. The weather was unbelievable - cloudless blue sky, perfect sunset. The tram "Speedy" didn't break down on us. The cheesecake was yummy. And of course, I got to marry my soul mate.
We spent the next two nights at the Amway Grand Plaza in downtown Grand Rapids. It was nice to have a couple of days to relax and just be together since we didn't go anywhere for our honeymoon.

The reception was so much fun! It went by really fast. I couldn't believe it. But the cake was yummy, our DJ was great, our food was awesome and our bar was a hit! Jason brewed a keg of beer for it. He named it "Wedded Bliss." It was really good and it was the first thing that we ran out of. Addie and Adam did a surprise performance of Carol Johnson's "This is the Day" after the food and before the dancing. They did a fantastic job! I was very happy with how it turned out. Surprise everyone!!! :)

But it was the most fun to be able to see my family and spend time with them. We always have so much fun when we're together - I wish it happened more often. I missed Jay though. I was really bummed that he didn't want to come out to the weddings. He was the only one missing. :(

Jason and I are thinking of taking a road trip next summer around our anniversary to Washington. Maybe if we're lucky we'll be able to see Jay while we're there. Jason still hasn't met Jay - how crazy!

So I've spent the past couple of weeks putting all of my wedding pictures on SnapFish and some of them that my family would be interested in onto my MySpace page. I kind've like MySpace. It's growing on me. I like that you can put music and pictures on there for friends to see and hear. That's pretty cool. And several of my family members are getting their MySpace pages going now too, so it's fun to read their blogs and see their pictures too - MySpace has a blog on there too.

So that's about it for me for now.
