R.I.P. Bessey

Our outdoor cat Bessey has passed away. The last time we saw him a couple of weeks ago he was injured - limping on three legs up to our door to eat some food and get attention. So we gave Bessey his lovin' and decided that if he didn't get better soon than we'd have to try to get him to a vet or something. Then a few days after that we heard from our neighbor that one of their neighbors down the street had a dog that had gotten loose and was running around somewhere. We did see the dog tracks and saw a dog running into the woods behind our house. So we figure that poor injured Bessey never really had a chance... Jason found him in the barn today - or what was left of him anyway. So we buried Bessey today. :(

I hope another stray kitty finds it's way to our house someday. I liked having an outdoor cat.

Stupid passwords....

(To be honest, I'd update my blog more if I could remember my stupid password. It's not just the password, but the account name and password combo that gets me for this. It's not my usual of either one and the two of them together make it impossible to get on sometimes. Grrrr)

So I'm enjoying my new job so far... However, getting up and going to the same job every day at the same time and getting paid the same amount every two weeks is really taking some getting used to...

I'm missing being in the schools though. And I'm missing interacting with so many different and interesting people in the restaurants. I'm sitting in the same office with the same four people from 8am until 5pm everyday. My day varies slightly from one day to the next, but sometimes it's kinda boring. Especially for someone with a little bit of ADD. I guess that's all part of having the "Big Girl Job."

I'm looking forward to my next lia sophia shows just so I have more people to talk to and interact with. I'm a people-person. I always have been. It's not a bad thing. And this full-time job with benefits thing is great. I'm not teaching, however, so I can't say I love my job. I really did love teaching. But alas, this is not to be right now.

Jason, however, is thrilled that I have a normal day job. He's been in the corporate world for a long time and hated my weird days and late hours at the restaurant. Now we're home at the same time every day and we can have dinner together and hang out. Just like a real adult married couple.

Being married is cool. Kinda the same as it was when we were living together, but a bit more mellow and contented.

I'm think it's great that Dan and Marissa are going to have a baby. The baby of the family is going to have a baby. Awwwww. Plus, it gets Jason and I off the hook for a while. Woo hoo!!! And in Jason's family his 20 year old nephew just had a baby with his "fiance," so we're off the hook on that side of the family for a while too! Woo hoo!

I've been reading Jay's new girlfriend's blog for quite a while now. And Jay has recently made an appearance - which I find to be very exciting for all involved! Sometimes when I read it, I feel like I'm peeking into Jayland. Since he doesn't talk about himself a whole lot - it's that CIA stuff he does I guess - it's almost like I'm learning little secrets about what he does way over there in Seattle. Don't worry, I won't tell - please don't kill me. I have my fingers crossed for the two of them. I'd really like to see Jay happy again. And it would be a bonus to have him feel more comfortable visiting his siblings that miss him. Yeah, I could really care less if he visited our parents, but siblings is a whole 'nother story. ;)

I just got home from the Dad Christmas and it was so much fun watching all of the kids play and getting to talk with Betsey and Travis, and David and Kaylene. And even Burke was there this year. It was a great time, but now I'm super tired... so, good night and Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Or as David said, Merry ChrysMrs! :)
